1. Who we are
Kyntra (“Kyntra”, “we”, “us”, or “our”) is a subscription SaaS developer tool operated by Flowlabs, a sole proprietorship registered in the Republic of Korea.
- Legal operator: Flowlabs
- Business Registration Number: 331-78-00505
- Representative: Koo Yoobhin
- Address: 50 Deokpunggongwon-ro, Hanam-si, Gyeonggi-do, 12973, Republic of Korea
- Contact: contact@kyntra.ai.kr
Payments are processed by Paddle.com Market Ltd. (“Paddle”), acting as our Merchant of Record. When you purchase a Kyntra subscription, Paddle is the seller of record for the transaction and handles tax compliance in your jurisdiction. Paddle's own terms apply to the payment transaction itself.
2. Scope of service
Kyntra provides real-time governance, monitoring, and rule-enforcement for AI coding assistants (such as Claude Code, Cursor, and similar tools) through an HTTP API and a lightweight open-source client adapter (“Client SDK”) that runs on your local machine.
The service evaluates tool-call events sent from your Client SDK against a set of user-defined principles and returns an allow / block / warn decision. It may additionally suggest refinements to your principles via our self-evolution engine.
Kyntra is a developer productivity tool. It is not a financial, medical, legal, or safety-critical service and must not be relied upon as such.
3. Account & eligibility
To use Kyntra you must (a) be at least 18 years old or the age of majority in your jurisdiction, (b) have the legal capacity to enter into a binding contract, and (c) provide accurate registration information and keep it current.
You are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your account credentials and API keys. You must notify us immediately at contact@kyntra.ai.kr if you suspect unauthorized access.
4. Subscription, billing & cancellation
4.1 Plans and pricing
Current plans are listed on our Pricing page. Standard pricing is USD 15/month for Starter and USD 29/month for Pro. New subscribers receive a 50% discount on their first billing period.
4.2 Billing cycle
Subscriptions renew automatically at the end of each monthly billing period unless cancelled. Paddle charges your payment method on file on the renewal date.
4.3 Cancellation
You can cancel your subscription at any time from your account dashboard or by emailing contact@kyntra.ai.kr. Upon cancellation, your access continues until the end of the current paid period; no prorated refund is issued for the remainder, except as described in our Refund Policy.
4.4 Price changes
We may change subscription pricing with at least 30 days advance notice via email or in-product notification. Price changes take effect at the next renewal after the notice period. You may cancel before renewal if you do not accept the new price.
5. Acceptable use
You agree not to use Kyntra to:
- Violate any applicable law or regulation;
- Infringe any third party's intellectual property, privacy, or other rights;
- Transmit malware, conduct unauthorized security testing against Kyntra infrastructure, or otherwise attempt to compromise the service;
- Circumvent Fair-Use rate limits (see Section 4.5 of our Pricing page) through multiple accounts, automated scripts, or other evasion techniques;
- Resell, rebrand, or sublicense the Kyntra service as your own without a separate written agreement;
- Use the service to govern safety-critical systems (medical devices, aviation, industrial control, etc.);
- Reverse-engineer, decompile, or attempt to extract the proprietary server-side governance engine.
We reserve the right to suspend or terminate accounts that violate this Acceptable Use Policy. Severe or repeated violations may be reported to relevant authorities.
6. Client SDK license
The Kyntra Client SDK (including @kyntra/claude-hook and related packages) is distributed under the MIT License. You may inspect, modify, and redistribute the Client SDK source code subject to that license.
The MIT license applies only to the Client SDK. It does not grant any rights to the server-side governance engine, which is proprietary to Flowlabs and covered by patent-pending technology (Korean patent application filed; Claims 1 and 2 cover the compliance verification engine and trust-adjustment engine respectively).
7. Your data & our obligations
Our handling of personal data and governance event data is described in our Privacy Policy, which forms part of these Terms.
You retain all rights to the principles, rules, and configuration you submit to Kyntra. You grant us a limited, non-exclusive license to process that content solely for the purpose of providing the service.
We do not use your principles, code snippets, or governance events to train machine-learning models, either our own or third parties'.
8. Service availability & changes
We strive for high availability but do not guarantee uninterrupted service. Planned maintenance, third-party outages (including Cloudflare, Paddle, or AI model providers), and unforeseen events may cause temporary interruption.
We may add, modify, or remove features over time. We will not remove core advertised features without notice, but non-core features may change at our discretion.
9. Intellectual property
All Kyntra brand assets (name, logo, documentation, marketing content) are the property of Flowlabs. The server-side governance engine, self-evolution algorithm, and trust-adjustment engine are proprietary and patent-pending.
10. Warranty disclaimer
Kyntra is provided “as is” and “as available” without any warranty of any kind, express or implied, including but not limited to warranties of merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, and non-infringement. Governance decisions are produced by a combination of deterministic rules and AI models and may contain errors. You are responsible for reviewing critical decisions yourself.
11. Limitation of liability
To the maximum extent permitted by law, Flowlabs and its affiliates shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, consequential, special, or punitive damages arising out of or in connection with your use of Kyntra.
Our aggregate liability for any claims arising out of these Terms shall not exceed the total amount you paid to Paddle for the Kyntra subscription in the twelve (12) months preceding the event giving rise to the claim.
12. Termination
You may terminate by cancelling your subscription. We may terminate or suspend your account immediately for any breach of these Terms, for abuse or security reasons, or if required by law. Sections that by their nature should survive termination (IP, liability, governing law) shall survive.
13. Governing law
These Terms are governed by the laws of the Republic of Korea, without regard to its conflict-of-law principles. Any dispute arising out of or in connection with these Terms shall be submitted to the exclusive jurisdiction of the Seoul Central District Court, Republic of Korea, except that consumers may bring actions in the courts of their country of residence where applicable mandatory consumer protection law requires.
